Festival addict and sometime writer, moved to Brighton for a year round music fix.
ROLE AT BRIGHTON NOISE:
Making some noise about Brighton Noise………….in real life and on Facebook.
FAVOURITE THINGS ABOUT LIVING IN BRIGHTON:
Music, my brilliant friends, the sea, the seagulls (birds not the team), great venues, cheap gigs, The Pavilion, Brighton Noise and the fact you can convince a random guy to play the ukulele on the 46 bus on a Saturday afternoon.
FAVOURITE LOCAL VENUE:
Normally the one I’m in at the time – you can call me fickle, I say I’m easily pleased.
BEST PRE-GIG DRINKING HOLE:
Definitely the beach.
FIRST EVER GIG:
Deep breath…………..Abba, there, I’ve said it! It doesn’t need defending…..but the ticket was my 9th birthday present.
BEST RECENT GIG:
I’m still coming to terms with the end of the British Sea Power, Krankenhaus residency at The Haunt…sigh.
3 TOP BANDS/MUSICIANS:
Changes on a daily basis, but I’ve finally decided that my favourite ever song is ‘Once in a Lifetime’ by Talking Heads. Oh, and I recently saw Alabama Shakes live and they’re DEFINITELY worth the hype.
CURRENTLY LISTENING TO:
Whatever they’re playing on 6music.
