A lot of my life revolves around music, I go to at least one gig a week on average, do an open mic maybe once every couple of weeks and play a gigs at least once a month. I’m currently playing with 5 bands, The Unmentionables, Joan, Dead Whisky, Simonne & The Darks Stars and some solo stuff. I’ve also worked on numerous music videos including artists such as, Ed Sheeran, XO Man, Pet Shop Boys and Punjabi MC.

ROLE AT BRIGHTON NOISE:
Reviews, photos, promoter.

FAVOURITE THINGS ABOUT LIVING IN BRIGHTON:
Apart from the overwhelming amount of live music within walking distance, I’d have to say BBQ’s on the beach.

FAVOURITE VENUE:
The Green Door Store. The sound can suffer bouncing around those stone walls if it’s not busy but why would it not be busy?

BEST PRE-GIG DRINKING HOLE:
The Prince Albert is a great pub and it’s right by the station which is good for out of town types.  I’ve also seen some incredible gigs there and had the privilege of playing there myself many times.

FIRST EVER GIG:
First one without parents was Pearl Jam at Wembley arena.

BEST RECENT GIG:
Imperial Leisure at The Green Door see my review here.

3 TOP BANDS/MUSICIANS:
Jack White.
G-Love.
Victor Wooten.

CURRENTLY LISTENING TO:
Kill it Kid.
Blind Boys of Alabama – Always on the playlist.

RECOMMENDED BRIGHTON BANDS:
There are so many great bands about but 2 who are stuck in my head when thinking about it are;
Dirty White Fever – Raw feral blues rock.
Beautiful Word – Cracking harmonies with a cheeky smile.
