Teen Creeps is an indie rock trio from Ghent with a taste for the alternative rock from the ’90s and punk. Their music is somewhere between melody and aggression, and has been described as “Guided By Voices, but aggressive” and “Fugazi, but in a good mood.”
The end of 2013 the band released its first EP in-house, and in March 2015 was followed by a split 7 “with Mind Rays on Oddie Records.
Woven steadily in the light of the south coast moon, the uniquely voiced solo project-turned-band play elemental, crystalline noise/art rock and clutter-free psychedelic pop stories from forthcoming LP, Umbra. For fans of Television, Polvo.
PORRIDGE RADIO AND THE COSMIC SADNESS
Songs about self loathing, songs about self loving, songs about old friends, new friends, old love/new love/forever love, frustration, sadness, and that feeling, that everything is beautiful and everything is okay.
“What emerges is a track enormously relevant to our generation, the tide of anger and fear and hope breaking through the barriers which normally keep it below the surface (that is, feelings of loneliness, ineptitude, an intense aversion to appearing naive) to make a song uplifting but never glib, and true without ever really understanding why. ” Wake The Deaf Blog
