To celebrate the release of their new single ‘Blasphemer’ Spit Shake Sisters are throwing a party on Halloween night. Doors are 7.30 pm, it’s free entry and Strange Cages and Tombes support. Fancy dress will of course be most welcome. Have a listen to the Sisters ‘Jesus Was A Homewrecker’ single released earlier this year.

The new project from ex- 80’s Matchbox men Andy Huxley and Sam Gharial, Piano Wire make their Brighton live debut at The Prince Albert on 30th October. Prince Vaseline and Dirty White Fever complete the bill.

GAPS have a new single out on Sexbeat records on 1 December. Entitled ‘She Bears a Flower,’ give it a listen below.

Fresh from impressing Brighton Noise at a recent Green Door Store headline show, Dog In The Snow have released their new single ‘Africa.’ It’s currently streaming on their soundcloud.

Lutine have continued their busy period, releasing a video for ‘To The Sea’ from their recently released debut album White Flowers. It a charming effort created by the artist and puppeteer Daisy Jordan.

Another Brighton outfit with an album out is Oh Captain. Released on 9 October, it’s called Pistols Out have a listen on their bandcamp below.

Sad news that The Beautiful Word have had to cancel all gigs until December as Megan has a cyst on her vocal chords that will need an operation. Megan and Felix Zschieschow’s surreal musical comedy project Grandma is also on hold. We wish her a speedy recovery.

We’ve really enjoyed Winston & Goldstein’s debut effort In The Eyes of The Other here so news there was a non-album track being given away for free on her soundcloud was a bonus. Give ‘Celebgate’ a listen below.
