26/04/2014 By James McLarnon

It’s a busy December for Brighton Noise shows. Not content with putting on Nordic Giants at The Old Market on 11 December, we are also hosting the Seadog Transmitter EP launch at Green Door Store on Monday 15 December. For £3 advance or £4 OTD there are three supports, The Creaking Chair, Such Small Hands and Hayley Savage.

Tigercub have shared the support duties for their single release show at Bleach on Monday 1st December between Kagoule and Tusks. Watch the video for ‘Centrefold’ below.

Recently a Resident album of the week, Fumaca Preta’s self-titled debut album has garnered praise from Wire Magazine who said “It’s amazing that the whole steaming, tropical, concoction has emerged from a tiny Amsterdam studio.” We recently discovered that two of the band – Stuart Carter and James Porch – are from highly regarded Brighton funk outfit The Grits. They play the Green Door Store on 17 December with support from The Rhubarb Triangle and The Lucid Experiment.

Doomy post-rock types Fvnerals release their debut album The Light on December 1st. However, they have made a preview stream available which you can listen to below.

Folk rock outfit False Lights have a debut album recorded, Salvor. It can be preordered here, with downloads being sent out on December 1. Physical copies will follow on 15 December. Preview track ‘The Banks of Newfoundland’ is available to listen to below.

Ex-Electrelane multi-instrumentalist Verity Susman recently put up an intriguing track on her Soundcloud. Titled ‘The Second Dream,’ it is created solely from vocal cut-ups edited from the voices of three women. Listen below
