Alt-folk outfit Moulettes have recently released an excellent new single, entitled ‘Glorious Year’, which is available from the usual digital outlets. Listen below.

Fresh from winning the Brighton Noise staff’s live outfit of the year, Slum of Legs play the Prince Albert this Tuesday (20 January) with support from Jungfrau, Taman Shud and The Last Chance Dance.

We miss Black Black Hills round these parts and are greatly heartened by the release of a previously unheard, self titled mini-album. Catch front man Mark S. Aaron in his new guise as Rooster Cole at Day One.

Female fronted psychedelic doom types Jungfrau are preparing for the release of their debut album Nacht on 16 February courtesy of Head of Crom records. They have released the brilliant bass driven, hypnotic title track as a preview.

Outstanding local record label Faux Discx hosts a showcase of label talent at as part of Label Mates festival 3 at Shacklewell Arms in London. Kicking off at 5pm on March 14, the bill hosts an array of local talent including Sealings, Teardrop Factory, Royal Limp and Lower Slaughter.
